"Shot Heard Around the State" 11-Year Anniversary

Dear Fellow New Yorkers, Eleven years ago, the NYS Safe Act was enacted. Needless to say, it has not made residents of our State safer. Since then, NYS continues to adopt laws that infringe on the legitimate 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens, hamstringing our law enforcement officers and coddling criminals. Please join me January 13th to commemorate the original "Shot Heard Around the State" protest 11 years ago and to renew our fight to protect our 2nd Amendment Rights. Thank you and God bless! Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C-East Aurora) is calling on all New Yorkers to protest Albany’s Second Amendment overreach. DiPietro has been the leader and spokesperson for the Assembly Republican Conference on all gun and Second Amendment issues. DiPietro is now calling on New York Patriots to join him on January 13 to commemorate the original “Shot Heard Around the State” protest 11 years ago. Ring a siren, honk your horn or join your local gun club to safely fire a shot at noon on January 13.

New York state’s gun-grabbing agenda has no end in sight and leaders like DiPietro are committed to safeguarding our constitutional rights. The SAFE Act is one of many laws the state has adopted that infringe on the legitimate Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens, handcuff our law enforcement officers and diminish accountability for criminals. Legislation like the Safe Act has not made residents of our state safer. Be heard on January 13.

Saturday, January 13th, 2024 Beginning at noon, people whose last name is A-K for 5 minutes. At 12:05 PM people whose last name is L-Z for 5 minutes.

~WHERE~ At all Gun Clubs, firearms dealers, Churches, Villages, Towns, Fire Halls, and anywhere that is appropriate.

~HOW~ Legally shoot your weapons, honk car horns, ring church bells, sound sirens and let people know you support the 2nd Amendment. ~WHY~ The Legislature continues passing restrictive firearms and ammunition legislation, including new restrictive background checks to purchase ammunition.
